Meaning Of The Lord's Tithe And Frightening Connection To Time Of Jacob's Trouble

210

When we first see the tithe show up in the Old Testament, it is Abram paying tithes to Melchizedek in Genesis 14, then we see it again in Genesis 28 with Jacob. But every place it pops up after that, the tithe is called the Lord's tithe, and it is a command to the Jews under the Law of Moses. But as we follow the trail of the Lord's tithe to the end of the prophetical timeline, it is connected with something that is absolutely frightening and almost unimaginable.

"And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD'S: it is holy unto the LORD. These are the commandments, which the LORD commanded Moses for the children of Israel in mount Sinai." Leviticus 27:30,34 (KJB)

On this episode of Rightly Dividing, we are looking at tithing in your King James Bible, and we will do our best to cover it from every possible angle. We will look at tithing before the Law, tithing under the Law, tithing in the Church Age, and tithing during the time of Jacob's trouble. But as we follow the trail, be forewarned that the Lord's tithe leads you smack dab into the Great Tribulation, showing you exactly why the tithe is so special to the Lord. The tithe begins in Jerusalem, and it will end in Jerusalem, with a conclusion more shocking than any Hollywood movie could produce.
