The Call of Abraham and the Hope of the World

Abraham's life shows God's purpose to bring blessing out of cursing. God has promised him land and the promise of seed. God commands him to go and leave all behind. He obeys even though it is a costly obedience. As he obeys, he will be a blessing to those around him. God requires that we worship Him alone, our allegiance must be only and all to God.
