Providence or Coincidence

Her hap was to light…we should read this like this; she happened to happen upon this field or by chance she chanced upon this field.
Here the writer uses satire to plainly declare through wit, that it was not simply luck that led her to that field.
The author does not believe, no, not for one moment; that it was fate that led her to that particular field…but rather it was GOD.
He uses a little sanctified sarcasm to plainly declare that God and not luck rules in this world.
How gloriously written is this little book, that it would teach us that even those saints of old realized that there was indeed a God in heaven who ruled over the affairs of men.
The author knows, as do we…that it was not luck, it was not karma, it was not destiny that brought her when and where she was…but it was the Overruling Hand of a Sovereign and Providential God.
