The Story of Good and Evil
Series How to Interpret This Text
88
Sermon Point: Be remembered as one who loves Jesus Christ. [The sermon shows you how this point comes out of the text.]
Sermon Outline:
Narratives call out to pick out the story within the larger story (Verse 3-9 vs. Verses 1-11).
Here, the larger story is the whole book of Mark.
Remember, all stories have characters and a plot; this plot turn at verse 6.
With all this in mind, let's review the story (Verse 1-11).
You remember Judas as the reprobate betrayer (Verse 10).
In this story of good and evil, Jesus Himself draws the great contrast to evil (Verse 9).
