Caution: Danger Ahead

In this passage of Scripture we learn that as Christ's disciples we are to discern our times and situation, in order to know our responsibilities in and preparedness for ministry. There is a time to trust that God will provide all that we need, and there is a time to take wisdom from the Scriptures and arm ourselves against evil. We see a marvelous balance in Christ's teaching between the Father's absolute sovereignty and our own ethical responsbilities.
