A Call to Biblical Ministry

Sadly, we live in an age in which purely biblical ministry is becoming a thing of the past. With the advent of postmodernism and its evil twin, the emerging church heresy marring the once beautiful landscape of evangelicalism, a timely word from God is certainly in order. In this passage, the apostle Paul exhorts Timothy to devote himself to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, and to teaching, each of which are critical elements not only to successful pastoral ministry but to all ministry.
