Baptized With Christ

Why is Christ's death called a baptism? How were those for whom Christ died baptized with Him in His death? What is it to be dead to sin with Christ? How do those live who are objects of God's grace and for whom Christ paid the debt? What does it mean that God forbid that any should sin that grace might abound?
