Preciousness of Tried Faith 2

There is no room for reason and human logic in divine faith. Abraham was commanded to sacrifice his son, Isaac, as a burnt offering, which was contrary to everything Abraham had learned about God up to this point. It was also against all the promises God had made to Abraham concerning his only child. God is testing Abraham's faith in God Himself, the One who made the promises. Faith must increase, not so much in the promises, but in Him who gave them.
