Judgment Of The Nations & The Great White Throne Judgment

257

Out of all the books in the New Testament, two of the toughest are without a doubt Matthew 24 and 25, sections dealing with the time of Jacob's trouble, the Great Tribulation and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. The theological waters we find here can be rough to swim in, and it is only by using the life raft of rightly dividing can we have safe passage to the other shore.

"Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal." Matthew 25:44-46 (KJB)

On this episode of Rightly Dividing, we are looking at the Judgement of Nations that Jesus tells us will take place at His coming to establish the Kingdom of Heaven, and gives us great and graphic detail about that time. We will compare and contrast that with another judgment, one the bible calls the Great White Throne Judgment, and see if we can see differences and similarities. Are they they same, as most commentators suggest, or are they two different judgments for two very different reasons, a thousand years apart?
