Surrounded...

"For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; with favor You will surround him as with a shield." (Psalm 5:12)

"Now Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon gave charge concerning Jeremiah... to the captain of the guard, saying, "Take him and look after him, and do him no harm; but do to him just as he (Jeremiah) says to you. So they sent someone to take Jeremiah out of the court of the prison... MEANWHILE, the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, while he was still shut up in the court of the prison, saying, "GO and speak to Ebed-Melech the Ethiopian..." (Jeremiah 39:11-16).

Meanwhile... God's sweet favor, like a shield, surrounds His servants.

Meanwhile... Favor is working, when God tells you you're getting out, without telling you you're getting out.

Meanwhile... Favor is working, when your trust is at work, when nothing will work for those around you or those against you.

Meanwhile... Favor is working, when your enemy has the momentum and plotting against you to no avail.

We illustrated it with the context of David fleeing Jerusalem during the revolt of Absalom and Jeremiah's deliverance by the hand of the Babylonian King ( Psalm 3 & Jeremiah 39).
