The King and His Kingdom

"The LORD is King forever and ever..." (Psalm 10:16)

The life that Jesus lived, which was sinless and perfect, qualified Him for the death that He died. He was born and sent in this world to bear witness to the truth. And though He was a man, He was also God. He had an earthly mother but a Heavenly Father. And the death that He died, qualifies us to receive the life that He lived then, by faith, now! And that's the life you're asking about... Him in us, the hope of glory! The life He lived then, He wants to live in and through His body, now, by the Spirit of God.

Those who come to know the true and living God must be born again... interrupted by Jesus and invaded with His grace. And these born again believers are those who make up His body. His body are those who have trusted Jesus with their sin and lives. He is the only acceptable sacrifice God has made for sin, and His life and death stand as a substitute for all those who believe.

He had to shed His blood to atone for our sins and it's by His life believers are saved. God the Father, placed my sins upon Jesus and when I trust Him, He transfers His righteousness to my life. I'm as righteous today as I'll ever be... because my righteousness is
not of me but found completely and totally in Christ and the finished work of the cross...
