13 Predestined or Pre-Ordained?

Predestination, the very word causes confusion and raises questions in many people's minds. This does not need to be the case, as God has not revealed Himself in the word via a mystery that cannot be understood. Instead, He has revealed Himself precisely so that we can know more about Him. Predestination is no different. Unfortunately, there is a myriad of baggage that is carried in this word that obscures its meaning. In this lesson we dig into this concept through looking at the original language in order to discover the true meaning that Paul intended in Ephesians 1:5, and what we discover is that it is a concept that should cause us to rejoice. God has pre-ordained the ultimate destiny of all those who trust in Him!
