The Rock

One of my favorite passages in the book of Acts is found in chapter 17 where Paul and his partner Silas visit the city of Thessalonica. There, they faithfully preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Some respond by putting their faith in Jesus, but others are so angered that they incite a mob. Paul, Silas and a few other believers are accused of “turning the world upside down.” Can that be said of the church today? Today, we look at a passage in the book of Matthew where Jesus gives us a description of His church.
