Why is Job called an 'upright man’ yet in need of correction? Why do our hearts need to be ‘converted' every day? Why did God denounce all of Job’s so-called friends? What was the perspective of Job and his friends as to what was going on? How are we just like Job in our thinking that God is merciful only when we deserve or earn it? Why did God allow all these untruths to mix with His Truth in this narrative? Why did Job have to repent? Why did God bring these friends to Job at this time? What’s the difference between a ransom and a covering for sin? Did Christ have to die to be completely obedient to His Father? Where was sin put away? How is the shedding of Christ’s blood vital to salvation?
