Marriage & Gender: Male and Female in the Church

God's eternal purposes and creation design of marriage and male/female differences are foundational to the health of the family, the church, the society. And they are rejected and under constant attack, to the doom of the family, the church, the society. So it is very important for us to study and review these foundational teachings from God's Word.

This sermon looks at how the gender differences and roles according to God's creation design are to be carried out in the local church. Paul's letter to Timothy which deals with these issues--these issues are nothing new!--is used to show how headship and submission, leadership and helper-ship are meant to be employed in a healthy, biblical local church.
