A Revival of Eugenics?

Genetics testing has been going on for years but now is gaining steam in the medical setting. With easy to use kits for collecting DNA from your saliva, for a few hundred dollars a DNA testing company can tell you more about your family or what diseases you are likely to contract later in life.

This technology is being used to test sperm and egg for defects so you can avoid them... which is really pure eugenics.

For the Christian, its not the technology that is evil its how we use it.

Additionally, what are some of the implications of this new technology? Will it impact health insurance? Will it impact employment? Could an insurance company or an company use this information?
