The Bible is bookended with Paradise and understanding this is critical to understanding everything in between. God created mankind to dwell in perfect harmony with Him, surrounded with beauty and provision. In this setting, mankind was safe. Yet, mankind will lose Paradise because of rebellion. Thankfully, it will not be lost forever.
