Desperate Deliverance

One temptation that constantly faces us is substituting the natural for the supernatural. Do not in your crisis hours or your routine hours be satisfued with less than a supernatural deliverance. Jonah in the whale's belly (or whatever sort of sea creature it was) was quite obviously in desperate need of a supernatural deliverance. Human beings, republican or democrat, educated or uneducated, physically strong or physically feeble--are born enslaved to sin and spiriually blind. nothing but a supernatural deliverance will meet their real need. Our children brought up in good conservative homes are in desperate need of deliverance aren't they? Friend, begin to know God more and more as "my deliverer": Psalm 18:2.
