Sealed with the Holy Spirit

Paul uses the ancient practice of applying a “seal” to describe God’s ownership and preservation of His people. The various biblical references to “sealing" show many positive aspects that describe the wondrous work of the Spirit in the lives of the elect. God has “stamped’ us with His Holy Spirit and we bear His image in redemption.
