Christ Came into the World to Save Sinners (of whom I am chief)

Paul uses his own experience of mercy and grace in Christ--that super-abundant grace to save a great sinner--to illustrate that the gospel is indeed the power of God unto salvation for any sinner. 1 Tim. 1:15 gives one of the most concise and powerful descriptions of the gospel of grace in Christ Jesus.
