Defiled

If you want godliness, seek inward purity from the Pure One, because godliness is not obtained from the outside in.

1. In the Old Testament everything the leper or unclean person touches becomes unclean

2. The Old Testament lepers foreshadow the ungodly who defile everything they contact

3. Because the unbeliever corrupts everything, it is hopeless for them to try to purify themselves through good works

4. The only way to be purified is to be purified by the Pure One

5. Godliness comes from a purified inside
