The Call and Claim of Christ

Description: Publicans were despised collectors of tax for the conquering Roman Empire. They were considered as immoral traitors to the their own people, the Jews. And yet, Christ seeks and saves the lost Matthew Levi, in spite of the criticism of the self-righteous Jewish religious leaders, who were too blind and self-righteous to see their own dire need of Christ.
