The latest sermon from Emmanuel Reformed Church in our sermon series through the Gospel of John. In this message, we look at John 1:29-34 and John the Baptist's great claim of Jesus being the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.
We look at various OT images of lambs and see how they all point to Jesus as the final, unblemished Lamb who fully atones for our sin. We also look at Spirit baptism as the giving of true spiritual life, and how John's baptism laid the groundwork for Jesus' Spirit baptism.
