A Tale of Two Rebukes
Series 1 Samuel
27
Eli gives a rebuke to his sons and God gives a rebuke to Eli. However, the two are vastly different. Eli is concerned with maintaining His comfort while God is concerned with maintaining His justice. Through seeing these two rebukes we are reminded of the holiness of God.
