The Unstoppable Church

This special message was preached for the inagural worship service in our new meeting place. In examining the New Testament Church and the Apostles here in Acts 5, we learn 5 things about a church that is unstoppable. An unstoppable church cannot be bound - whether we are thrown in prison or persecuted, we will not be bound. God is in control and wherever we are we where He wants us and will use us. An unstoppable church cannot be silenced. We will be faithful to preach and teach the Word of God no matter what men say to us or do to us. An unstoppable church cannot be overthrown. While many today try every new method they can find, an unstoppable church rejects pragmatism and realises that God has not ordained methods, but He has ordained means to accomplish His purposes. An unstoppable church cannot be defeated. By God's power and design we will overcome and we will count it all joy when we are counted worthy to suffer for Christ. And an unstoppable church will not cease to preach Christ. Wherever we go, whatever we do, we will preach and teach that Jesus is the Christ!
