The Lord’s Supper

Jesus uses the Passover meal to institute the Christian ordinance of the Lord's Supper. Taking elements from the Passover, and omitting others, Jesus shows that the spiritual core of the Passover was to point to His suffering and death. Each time we take the Lord's Supper, we have Christ's death preached to us again. This reminder is necessary for us, that we are constantly admonished that Christ's death covers for all of our sins.
