Oracle Concerning Moab

In Isaiah 15:1-16:14, we witness 6 scenes in God's oracle
concerning Moab.
I. Moab grieves for themselves (15:1-4).
II. Yahweh grieves for Moab (15:5-9).
III. Moab seeks relief from Judah (16:1-4a).
IV. Yahweh offers true relief (16:4b-5).
V. Israel calls out Moab's arrogance (16:6).
VI. Yahweh responds to Moab refusing His offer:
A. Moab must weep for themselves (16:7-8).
B. I will weep for Moab even as I judge Moab
for their sin (16:9-10).
C. I will moan for Moab even as I judge Moab
for their sin (16:11).
D. Moab will fail to find security in their god
after refusing My security (16:12).
E. In three years, without fail, I will bring low
Moab's glory (16:13-14).
