Truth, Oaths, and Vows

God is a God of truth.
His Word is powerful.
Ps. 33:6 By the word of the LORD the heavens were made,
And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.
John 14:6   Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
It is a very serious thing to take God’s name in vain, that is to attach God’s name to something perverse or not true.
God will not hold him guiltless that taketh His name in vain.
God is a God of truth. We must seek truth and take seriously our word and our vows and oaths.
