After You Have Suffered A Little While

Persecutions are part of God’s plan of salvation. The God of all grace saves by grace and sustains by grace. When He calls a sinner into the Kingdom of light, it is a New Birth and the beginning of a glorious journey that will culminate in an eternal perfection when we see Jesus. While Christians are on earth, God yes persecution to sanctify us: Peter describes four areas that God will affect through sanctification: He will perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle us. This will make us more like Jesus.
