Christ Dwells In Our Hearts

The Apostle Paul prayed for the Ephesians to be stronger as Christians. He asks that Christ may dwell in their hearts by faith but it is not a prayer for salvation because Christ already was in their hearts. Christians have to clean out of their hearts all that would make Jesus uncomfortable there. As the believer gains greater intimacy with Jesus, he begins to see the vastness of His love. This increased knowledge of Christ leads to empowered Christian living.
