How Shall We Escape If We Neglect Such a Great Salvation!

Main Idea:

We will not escape eternal destruction if we neglect such a great salvation

• We must pay closer attention to the Gospel (1a)
• We must not drift away from the Gospel (1b)

Logic:
If:
The message declared by angels proved reliable (2a)
Every transgression & disobedience received just retribution (2b)

Then:
The message of Christ will be more punishable (3a)
We will not escape if we neglect such a great salvation (3a)

• We can trust the message of Christ
 It was declared at first by Him (3b)
 It was attested to us by those who heard (3c)
 It was divinely witnessed by God using
 Signs, wonders, and various miracles (4a)
 Gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to His will (4b)

Applications

Pay closer attention to the Gospel!
Do not drift from the Gospel!
