An Introduction to Christology

God did not leave all mankind to perish in their sins, but out of His own good pleasure elected some to be saved by a redeemer that He provided. The only redeemer of God's elect is the Lord Jesus Christ. The study of the person and work of Christ belongs to that body of doctrine called Christology. Most heresies throughout church history stem from errors regarding the person and work of Jesus. It is of paramount importance for those who call themselves disciples of Jesus to understand who Jesus is.
