Seed Theology: Lessons from Farming

Today many churches, evangelists and other individuals believe they can ‘draw the net' and get people saved. One man said he had never met someone he couldn't lead to the Lord—what he really means is manipulate into praying a prayer of salvation. This parable reminds the reader that salvation is ultimately a work of God's grace accomplished by the Holy Spirit in the regeneration of the lost man or woman. Dead people don't believe.
