Borderline Believers: The Giant Battle with Worldliness
Series How The Promised Land Was Won
239
Often times God's way is the less traveled road, and in a world of fast-running, paved roads, God often leads down the grassy path that seems to lead no where. This was the challenge facing the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasseh. The Promised Land lie west of the Jordan River, but these tribes looked at the land east of the river and declared it good enough for their needs. In this message, Pastor Phil Winfield encourages believers to live wholeheartedly for Christ and not as a 'borderline believer,' with one eye on the cross and one foot planted firmly in the world.
