Justification - The Justified Is Driven By The Spirit --- Gal 3:1-5

1. INTRODUCTION (v1)

2. THE JUSTIFIED RECEIVES THE SPIRIT (v2)

a. The law demands, but the gospel grants.
b. Gal 4:6. And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, "Abba, Father!"
c. Gal 4:6 + Gal 2:20  Christ lives in us through the Spirit.

 Remember who you are.

1 Cor 6:19-20. Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.

 Unbelievers, have you confessed that the crucified Jesus is your Lord?

1 Cor 12:3. Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.

3. THE JUSTIFIED GROWS BY THE SPIRIT (v3-4)

a. The law condemns, but the gospel inspires.
b. Gal 5:25. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
c. Gal 5:18 + Gal 5:22  Christ's life of obedience reflected in our lives.

 Remember who you lived for.

4. THE JUSTIFIED SERVES BY THE SPIRIT (v5)

a. The law hinders, the gospel equips.
b. 1 Cor 12:11. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.
c. 1 Cor 12:11 + 1 Cor 12:7  Christ's gifts to us through the Spirit for His church.

 Remember who you use your gifts on.
