Making Us People We Should Be

Faith, we are told, is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. We therefore believe in the reality of God by faith. The catalogue of those people listed in Hebrews 11 tells about those who did great exploits, as well as those who suffered severe trials because of their faith. Are the examples of such courageous men and women a rebuke to us. This passage shows us what kind of people the Lord wants to make us into.
