Old Age's Humbled View
Series Life of Solomon
1,339
In the final chapter of the last book of Scripture he was inspired to write, King Solomon viewed life from the vantage point of one who had tried everything the world says people must do to have a good time, and he said he had found it all to be vanity. He warned that only by remembering the Creator in the days of youth could the pattern of humility and godliness be established that would protect people from the follies of old age's deceptions. Only by hearing the Word of God with a ready ear and heart can anyone be guarded against the temptations to depart from the living God.
