Be a Saint, not a Hypocrite!

Our Lord's words in Luke 12:1-12 have caused some Christians great pain because of misunderstandings. It must always be remembered that they are addressed to disciples, and form a warning against hypocrisy, joined with an encouragement to true godliness. We see here the great error of the hypocrite's effort to conceal his sin, the great comfort of God's care to the godly, and the joy of confessing God.
