Freed by His Blood for Worship

How astonishing is the new situation that has come to us through our great High Priest of love. The inadequate earthly tabernacle/temple system of worship could not provide unfettered access into God’s holy presence. When only the high priest, and only once a year, could enter the inner sanctuary the Holy Spirit was making it abundantly clear that the way into the Most Holy Place was not yet opened. Access was denied! Who would dare to try and enter into God’s holy presence? We needed a high priest who could wholly cleanse our conscience – not merely to get the monkey of guilt off our back, but to give us bold access into God’s presence. Christ alone has entered the Most Holy Place – heaven itself, and that, once for all by His own blood! We have been eternally redeemed and freed for true worship where our guilt is no more and we are made bold to serve and love the living God! The veil has been torn - why hang back in fear when all has been made clear!
