The Coming of the Spirit

You have often heard Dr. John Whitcomb talk about creation, but this week on “Encounter God’s Truth” we are actually thinking about a different type of creation than we often do – that is the creation of the church.
“God, on the Day of Pentecost, reversed the curse of Babel,” states our teacher. “The church of Jesus Christ has begun!”
Dr. Whitcomb tackles some of the tough questions surrounding this text, and also shows how the Bible explains God’s dealings with the many people groups of the world – drawing on texts from Genesis to Revelation.
