Christian Conduct in the 21st Century- What We Should and Should NOT be doing
Series Christian Living
Here, is my farewell sermon. The topic is Christian Conduct in the 21st century; what we should and should not be doing outwardly as well as inwardly.
The "farewell" part is my final written sermon. I will continue to teach through the reading of books and also teaching on the Confessions and catechisms of the Reformed Church.
I know I have been harsh at times. I have done so out of love.
Pr 13:24 ¶ He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.
You, who have listened and those who listen in the future, are loved. Proverbs 13:24 is the proof. I have given the rod of correction as I would my own children. Whether it was needed or not. Since I don't know my listeners, yet know men's hearts; I took the liberty to teach in this fashion.
I have said nothing to you that I have not considered myself. I am no hypocrite.
See you all next Sabbath Day when the Canons of Dort will be presented.
Brother Duane
Ga 4:16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
