Jesus: The Shadow's Substance - Message 10 - Jesus and the ABCs. The writer of Hebrews exhorts and admonishes his readers because while they should be grounded and founded in the fundamentals of the Word of God so that might be teaching others they are instead mired in the basics and will not grow beyond the milk stage of their spiritual lives. Here we learn that there are times that we do not need to get back to basics. We need to get the basics down and get on with living and maturing in our daily lives.
