The Realist

The realist is of course the one who looks at the glass and doesn't see it as neither half full or half empty. He or she sees that the glass is full, half with water and half with air. In this chapter the providence of God is really beginning to ramp up. Naomi has over the past few weeks been waking from her trauma. Ruth has not stopped being diligent in her efforts to support the two of them and the whole time she has maintained her dignity. All the while it would seem Boaz has had his eye on her, but with the self realization that he doesn't stand a chance of marrying someone like Ruth. As was already stated though God's providential hand is on the move.
