Exegesis: Faithful obedience that glorifies God: fulfilling our destiny, in Christ (vv. 1-2); loving our Diety, through Christ (v. 3); and desiring our dignity, in Christ (vv. 4-5).
Further application: How to practice these traits: we must die to our sin and self, and live to our Savior.
