Most Hermeneutics classes fail the student by giving him a correct academic understanding of knowing and interpreting the Word of God but then fail to take the final step – “how to get into the Word of God”. Or perhaps even more importantly, “how to get the Word of God into you.” A correct understanding of dietetics and kinetics if of no value in terms of ones health if you do not know how to cook or work out. In the same way a correct understanding of hermeneutical tools is of little value if one does not know how to feed oneself from the Word of God and how to use the Word of God in strengthening oneself. These final two lectures take the student to this final concluding application.
