The Word of God 2: Wrong and Correct Approaches

This series is committed to the total inerrancy of the Scriptures. It is committed to the establishment of the Word of God as the final and absolute authority over all doctrine and conduct. It places the Word of God above culture, science, anthropology, psychology and all so called higher criticism. It is committed to the principle that man does not judge the Word of God but rather the Word of God judges man.
Lecture two continues the them that it is sometimes as important to know what not to do as it is to know that which is correct. In this first lecture Rev. Mahon exposes the most common errors committed in the study of God's Word. Many of these errors have crept into everyday thinking so this lecture is especially helpful to those teaching the Word of God. As a teacher you will want to know these errors but also as a pastor or education minister you will want to have your leadership go through this series so that you may be confident in their approach of the Word of God.
The lecture concludes with the correct use of the Word of God – “The Word of God is understood and interpreted by the Word of God”.
