Hebrews 2:10-13
Series Hebrews
216 ( 174 | 42 )
Salvation of sinners is a supernatural work of the Triune God. Salvation is also a work of God, and God alone, in which He receives all of the glory. We are sinners who are saved by the pure grace of God. Throughout history God has revealed His character and given examples of His justice, mercy, and salvation. All of which point to the ultimate salvation that He has provided in Jesus Christ. Christ takes our sin, receives the penalty for it, and makes us holy by his removal of our sin, and providing righteousness on our behalf. Therefore, we are in the family of God, not based upon what we have done, but based upon the one who represented us. He suffered in our place, so that we might receive the blessings of His perfect obedience.
