Heaven Revealed

Heaven is an abused topic these days. People see heaven as an abstract location of pleasure, a place where everyone will go and/or a place filled with all of the things that make me happy. In truth, the Scriptures describe three heavens: (1) "the 3rd heaven", God's abode, (2) the "starry heaven, the universe and (3) "the earth's heaven, the sky. Each one of these uses of heaven are understood based on the Biblical context in which they are found. The 3rd heaven is typically how we use the word today, and it refers in Scripture to a literal spiritual place where God dwells. It is uncreated and will never change.
