There are a couple of expressions that are frequently associated with the Exodus, one of which is “mighty hand.” God didn’t sneak His people out of the land under the cover of darkness or with trickery or deceit. God took Pharaoh- and more significantly the Egyptian gods (Ex. 12:12)- head on! He vanquished them with might and power- through it all demonstrating that He alone is God… He alone is great… He alone is all-powerful and as such is powerful enough to respond!
