The Curse on the Woman: In Childbearing

God cursed women and men in their respective roles. The woman was cursed respective to her husband and children. It seems to be uniquely and pointedly the woman that suffers most for her children through their whole lives: birth, rearing, long into adulthood. Childbearing, the birth and raising of children, is filled with pain and suffering for mothers. And because the world is fallen and children themselves are cursed and sinful they bring us great sorrow. Is there any softening of this curse? Yes!
